It's Raining in Here Baby Mobile

To crochet is to create tangible tender loving care. At least most of the time.
For the sun:
Crochet a sphere (see here) in yellow, place safety eyes at your preferred location before the ball gets too small. Surface crochet in orange all around the head and then join and use round three of this sun pattern here.
For the Rain Cloud:
I modified this pattern to make it a little larger.
For the Rain Drops:
I followed this pattern.

Embroider faces as you see fit. Attach together with fishing line. And tada!

Serena's Birthday Clutch

Giving a homemade gift can sometimes be a little disconcerting. You put a lot of hard work and a lot of time into making something special, but will they recognize that? Will they feel the joy?
Giving homemade allows you to make a unique item tailor made for that special someone, with the colors, fabrics, patterns, that you know they will love. Because I feel that I need to know the person really well in order to do this I only give homemade to good friends and family.
My beautiful Love Bird fabric with kissing clasp metal frame shouted "Serena!" and then calmly whispered "clutch". Yes, my crafting supplies talk to me. Yes I know I am weird.
This finished product turned out great and yes she loved it!
By the way the free tutorial for this purse can be seen here: coin purse.
