Make the Baby Food and save your Budget


My 8 month old loves all 4 of these recipes:
1. Apples and Blueberries: blend 2 fuji apples with 16 oz of fresh blueberries.
**Great source of lots of fiber, antioxidants and other vitamins.**
2. Green beans: boil fresh green beans for 5 min and blend. Option: add 1/2 cup of cooked white rice to every 1 1/2 cups of cooked green beans.
**Great source of fiber, calcium and iron.**
3. Strawberries and Bananas: blend 4 bananas with ~10 fresh or frozen strawberries. 
**Great source of potassium, vitamin B6 and vitamin C.**
4. Yams, carrots and spinach: Boil 3 small yams, a large handful of baby carrots until soft. Blend together with a handful of fresh spinach.
**Great source of IRON, fiber, vitamin C, potassium and vitamin A.**

A Family of Scarves

Easy Peasy Hoodie scarf for Mother-in-law pattern:
With worsted weight yarn chain 200, dc in 3rd chain from hook and turn.
dc in each chain until desired thickness is reached (10-15 rows is good).
Fold scarf in half to find center. Pick up and dc the center 16 inches of the scarf (this is the start of your hood).
Continue to dc until the hood is the length you need to reach the top of your head. 
Whip stitch the top of the hood closed.
